Don't try....

"TRYING to do good is most likely doing bad"  Doing 'good' implies doing what one believes to be good...but is it actually good?  Predictably, each person's limited beliefs restrict the ability to recognize 'the good'.  Meditation and contemplation, through deep examination of thoughts, allows awareness to discover the true nature of belief(s).   Peace, Matthew

Flowing awareness

"We are not the self conceived from collected stories; we are the flowing awareness that savors a moment."     Peace, Matthew

Awareness, instead of believing in thoughts

"Awareness allows us to stay focused on the real. It's when we believe thoughts to be Reality that we wander into the struggles of an imaginary world...which is why Buddha called life 'suffering'."     Peace, Matthew

Events

"Whatever is happening...it's not being done to you; and it's not being done for you."     Peace, Matthew

Simple advice...

Simple, powerful advice from Jesus: Matthew Chapter 6.31-34;

Love and Compassion

"In 'reality' love and compassion are central. There is no need to 'recognize specialness' in things. Such attempts are symptomatic of alienation. Only when alienated creatures drop the illusion of separation can they discover wholeness- a wholeness that they are!"     Peace, Matthew

Awareness

"The 'point' of life isn't to get something, or go 'someplace' (become better, etc.), but to fully experience what is. Often 'self-consciousness', which exists within the limited(ing) world of the conceptual, is tainted by the unending appearance of 'not good enough'. This is the origin of the Buddhist phrase, "Life is suffering". Love (unconditional) flourishes only when 'as it is' is accepted."      Peace, Matthew
